Very Pretty ! I also would mount the horn so that it is level or pointing to ear level when sitting.From pictures it looks like it is pointing up. As far as damping goes I always use Fiberglass insulation.I know it's not exotic but it works great. PIA to work with though,but for damping enclosures works very well !
Thanks Altec. There is no problem with pointing because i can switch them up or down (the mount for the horn is oval, so i can set up any direction what i need)...i just put them for the pictures....
i prefer rock wool for insulation. and a 299 large format driver for that horn

I wanted to have something which i can change the tilt angle. In a brainstorming we tried every possibility ...supended with metal wires, fixed in wood/metal construction, placed on a block, etc...and finally this oval concept gives me 100% flexibility...

Actually i finished the dampening work which took my a few hours but i guess it looks quit nice...hope it will sound the same
Now i have a last question about the internal speakerwiring. i will go for a parallelwiring. My question is if i should wire both speakers (the "+" of both speakers for example) directly from the WBT Terminal (advantage: same cable length) or if i should start from WBT to go the first "+" of speaker 1 and than go from there to "+" of speaker 2...in this case you will not have the same cable length. Which version is better? The easiest way for me would be version 1. what do you suggest for best audioquality?
